We seek to prevent veteran suicide through community awareness, camaraderie, interaction and communication with veterans

One of our key partnerships is with VOW22, a respected local veteran organization. Together, we work diligently to train and provide service animals to our local veterans. The significance of this collaborative effort is vast, as it targets the essential needs of veterans who may benefit from a trained companion to assist them with daily activities or to offer crucial emotional or physical support.

The program does not merely offer practical assistance; it delves deeper into the rehabilitation process for our veterans. By facilitating access to service animals, we can substantially enhance the quality of life for these individuals through companionship and support. Trained service animals can help mitigate symptoms of PTSD, provide comfort in social situations, and offer a sense of security.

This initiative is particularly close to our hearts, as highlighted by the dedication of our trainer, Jason, who is himself a disabled veteran. Jason’s personal experiences and understanding of the challenges faced by fellow veterans drive his commitment to training animals that can truly make a difference. His empathy and expertise are crucial in tailoring the training of each service animal to the specific needs of their future owners.
