Training Options

Like most families, your dog is a major part of your life. If your dog is digging, jumping up, barking, running your life, we know how frustrating it can be. Our programs are designed to help address the underlying issues that are causing these behaviors, improve communication between you and your dog, and help set the foundation for building a lasting relationship between you and your companion. Results are dependent on the owner’s commitment to following the techniques taught in the lessons and devoting time to working with their dog regularly. We establish that line of communication, teach the technique, reinforce everything with repetition in a controlled environment, and transfer that knowledge to you. All of our programs include socialization, trips to town in real world environments, demonstration of commands at pickup, followed by guiding the owner through the commands, detailed written instruction, and in-person follow up lessons. With all of our programs the follow up lessons are unlimited in quantity and time frame. Whether it’s 2 months or 2 years after training, K10 will be with you!

All pricing of our programs are inclusive of the previous programs, not cumulative!

To begin obedience training dogs should be 16 weeks or older.

On-Leash Basic Obedience (Level 1):

Tired of your dog walking YOU down the road? This program is for you! This program is designed to give you better control of your dog to make life more pleasant with Fido. Your dog will learn to respect you so you can enjoy your dog.

• On-leash program designed to give basic on-leash control. During this program your dog will stay in residence at K10 Professional Dog Training for 2 weeks.
• Basic commands taught: Heel, automatic sit, sit at your side, and down at your side

On-Leash Advanced Obedience (Level 2):

Tired of your dog jumping up on visitors? This program is for you! This program gives you even more control and more respect.  Your dog will learn to go to a designated place on your command. This program provides advanced commands. Going to town with your dog is fun when your dog has a thorough understanding of your expectations!

• On-leash program designed to give advanced on-leash control. During this program your dog will stay in residence at K10 Professional Dog Training for 4 weeks.
• Basic and Advanced commands taught: Heel, automatic sit, sit at your side, down at your side, sit and down in motion, sit and down from the front, come, and place.

Off-Leash Basic Obedience (Level 3):

This program is designed for beginning off-leash success.

Refresher Course

This course is for dogs that have previously completed K10 Obedience Training. Designed to either help dogs who have been getting limited work at home get back on track, or to fine tune the skills of dogs who have been working regularly. Beginning with Level 1 commands, we progress through the previously completed commands until we find an area that needs work. Naturally, the less practice and instruction received at home, the more time will be spent at lower levels and the slower we will be able to progress through the more advanced commands. The primary focus of all of our training is building relationships and keeping balance in the Pack. This course is here to help you and your dog to get back in the groove of working together, or take the most active of partners to the Next Level.

• During this program your dog will stay in residence at K10 Professional Dog Training for 7 days.

Boarding Services:
