Our tailored programs aim to enhance communication, foster a better understanding, and solidify a deep-seated bond between you and your dog. Success hinges on the owner’s involvement. The effectiveness of our training lies in consistently applying the techniques learned during our sessions and dedicating time to practice with your dog. By setting up a reliable line of communication between you and your dog and reinforcing these lessons through repeated, controlled practice, transformation is not just possible—it’s expected.

All our training packages are comprehensive. They include socialization exercises, practical trips into town to experience real-world scenarios, and demonstrations of commands upon completion. When you come to pick up your dog, we not only show you what they’ve learned, we also guide you through each command. Beyond just teaching, we provide detailed written instructions and offer in-person follow-up lessons. One of the standout features of our service is that these follow-up lessons are unlimited and free — whether it’s 2 months or 2 years post-training, K10 commits to supporting you throughout the life of your dog training journey.

Moreover, the pricing of our programs is inclusive; each level includes everything from the previous levels but without additional cost cumulatively. To start obedience training at K10, we recommend that dogs be at least 16 weeks old. This ensures they are ready to engage fully with the training curriculum and benefit maximally from our methods. Basic On-Leash Obedience (Level 1):

Tired of your dog walking YOU down the road? This program is for you! This program is designed to give you better control of your dog to make life more pleasant with Fido. Your dog will learn to respect you so you can enjoy your dog walks instead of dreading them. With expert trainers and a comprehensive curriculum, your dog will learn essential obedience skills, including walking nicely on a leash, following commands, and behaving politely in public spaces. Not only will this program improve your daily walks, but it will also strengthen the bond between you and your pet, creating a mutually respectful and loving relationship.

• On-leash program designed to give the most basic on-leash control. During this program your dog will stay in residence at K10 Professional Dog Training for 5 days. Training begins on Monday and ends on Friday of the same week.
• This program has a maximum number of 2 trainees a week.
• Basic commands taught: Let’s Go, Walking Heel, Automatic Sit(in the heel), Sit at your side, Stay, and Wait.

Intermediate On-Leash Obedience (Level 2):

Our Basic On-Leash Obedience program is designed to give you real control and confidence, making life with your dog calmer and more enjoyable. No more stressful walks or frustrating outings — just a dog that listens, respects boundaries, and moves with you instead of against you.

With guidance from our expert trainers and a structured, proven curriculum, we focus on building reliable leash manners, impulse control, and positive social behavior around both people and other dogs. Your dog will learn how to remain calm, focused, and well-mannered in real-world environments.

This program doesn’t just improve behavior — it strengthens the bond between you and your dog. Through clear communication, consistency, and trust, you’ll create a respectful, loving relationship that makes walks, public outings, and everyday life something to enjoy again. Take the stress out of walks and bring the joy back to life with your dog. 

• On-leash program designed to give Intermediate on-leash control and ignoring distractions. During this program your dog will stay in residence at K10 Professional Dog Training for 10 days.
• Basic commands taught in addition to Level 1: Down, Stand, Sit at your side, Automatic Stay.

Advanced On-Leash Obedience (Level 3):

If you are struggling with unwanted behaviors like jumping on guests or overreacting to distractions? This program is built for that next level.

Our Advanced On-Leash Course goes beyond the basics to create meaningful, lasting behavior changes. This training is ideal for owners who want more than surface-level obedience and are ready to refine their dog’s manners, focus, and responsiveness in real-world situations.

Through structured, advanced training, we address common challenges such as jumping on visitors, reactivity to other animals, and poor impulse control. We also introduce and strengthen recall skills, teaching your dog to reliably come back to you even around distractions — an essential foundation for safety, freedom, and trust.

The result is a dog that listens, respects boundaries, and represents you well wherever you go. Whether you’re walking through town, welcoming guests into your home, or navigating busy environments, you’ll feel confident and proud of your dog’s behavior.

This course is about more than control — it’s about clarity, communication, and creating a calmer, more enjoyable life together. Stronger skills, safer interactions, and peace of mind for both ends of the leash.

• On-leash program designed to give advanced on-leash control. During this program your dog will stay in residence at K10 Professional Dog Training for 20 days.
• Extra commands taught in addition to Levels 1 and 2:  Sit in motion, Down in motion, Come, Recall Heel, and Place.
• Major emphasis on socialization and ignoring distractions.
• This is the program where true behavior modification can begin to occur, from jumping on visitors, to reactivity with other animals!

Off-Leash Obedience (Level 4):

Our Advanced Off-Leash Program is designed to create reliable, responsive behavior without the safety net of a leash — both indoors and outdoors. This course focuses on clarity, accountability, and consistency, ensuring your dog understands expectations no matter the environment or level of distraction.

Building on the foundation from our on-leash programs, we continue behavior modification when needed, addressing more ingrained or challenging behaviors that require extra structure and reinforcement. This allows dogs to progress at their own pace while ensuring lasting results, not shortcuts.

By the end of the program, your dog will respond confidently to cues without relying on physical restraint, giving you peace of mind and greater freedom together. Whether you’re navigating busy public spaces or enjoying open trails, you’ll feel confident knowing your dog is safe, focused, and under control.

This course is about trust, communication, and real-world reliability — empowering both you and your dog to enjoy life beyond the leash.

Refresher Course

This course is specifically tailored for dogs that have already completed the foundational K10 Obedience Training. It’s ideally suited to assist dogs that may have not been practicing regularly at home, helping them get back on track, as well as for dogs that have been continuously active, aiming to fine-tune their existing skills. Starting with Level 1 commands, the training sessions incrementally revisit each command from past courses until we identify specific areas that require improvement. It’s important to note that the amount of practice and instruction a dog receives at home plays a critical role in their progression through the course. Dogs that have had less frequent practice will spend more time reinforcing lower-level commands, which might slow their advancement to higher, more complex commands. The overarching goal of our training is to strengthen the bond between you and your dog, fostering a harmonious balance within the pack. Whether your aim is to rekindle your working relationship with your dog or to elevate the training of an already diligent canine partner, this course provides the structured environment to achieve those objectives. By the end of this refresher training, you and your dog should find yourselves better attuned to each other, with improved command recall and performance, ready to tackle everyday challenges more effectively or even progress to the Next Level of K10 training.
